These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Purchase History, a cloud multi-tenant purchase and visit memory service operated by StoicSoft Inc. (“StoicSoft,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service (including the web app and the Codex MCP plugin), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Purchase History lets you photograph products and dishes, receive AI-assisted recognition, save ratings and reviews, look up prior purchases, and log restaurant or shop visits. Features, plan limits, and interfaces may change as we improve the product. The live application is hosted at our published Cloud Run URL and marketed at stoicsoft.net/purchase-history/.
You sign in with Google OAuth. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Household plans may include invited members; account owners are responsible for invites they send and for content shared within the household.
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe:
Prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. Taxes may apply. Cancel or manage billing anytime through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from the app. Unless required by law, fees already paid for a billing period are not refunded when you cancel mid-cycle. Plan limits (analyses, storage, members) are enforced by the service; unused analyses do not roll over unless we expressly say so.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to the service or other users.
Photo recognition and AI-generated descriptions can be wrong or incomplete. Suggestions are assistive only. You are responsible for confirming, editing, or rejecting recognition results before relying on them. StoicSoft does not warrant that recognition, embeddings, place lookup, or search results are error-free.
You retain rights to content you submit (photos, ratings, reviews, notes, and visit records). You grant StoicSoft a limited license to host, process, display, and back up that content solely to operate and improve Purchase History for you and your household. You represent that you have the rights needed to upload the content you submit.
The service depends on third parties such as Google (OAuth, Places, and possibly generative AI), Stripe, Neon/Postgres, Google Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to their processing.
You may stop using the service and cancel paid subscriptions at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use Purchase History ends. We may delete or retain data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Purchase History is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoicSoft disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoicSoft and its officers, directors, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Purchase History will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to StoicSoft for Purchase History in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US $50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence apply. Courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
