Voice Modulator Privacy Policy

Introduction

Voice Modulator is an Android entertainment application that applies real-time voice effects (pitch and time) using on-device audio processing. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information Collection

Voice Modulator does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to StoicSoft servers. The application:

• Does not collect account or profile information for StoicSoft
• Does not use analytics or crash reporting services operated by StoicSoft
• Does not upload audio recordings or personal data to StoicSoft servers
• Does not create user accounts or profiles
• Shows a bottom banner ad via Google AdMob (see Advertising below)

Microphone & Audio Processing

Voice Modulator requires the following permission to provide real-time voice modulation:

• RECORD_AUDIO (Microphone): To capture your voice for real-time on-device modulation. Audio is processed locally on your device using Oboe and SoundTouch for pitch and time effects. Optional recording and export stay on your device unless you choose to share a file yourself through the Android system share sheet or another app you control.

Data Storage

All data in Voice Modulator is stored exclusively on your device:

• User preferences and effect settings are stored locally
• Any recordings you choose to save are stored locally on your device
• No audio or personal data is transmitted to StoicSoft remote servers
• Aside from Google AdMob serving the banner (see Advertising), StoicSoft does not share your audio or account data with third parties
• No data is backed up to StoicSoft cloud services

You can delete all stored data by clearing the app storage or uninstalling the application.

Third-Party Services

Core voice modulation runs entirely on your device and does not depend on StoicSoft servers. The free version of Voice Modulator displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google.

Advertising

Voice Modulator is free and includes a bottom banner advertisement powered by Google AdMob. We configure AdMob for a family-safe, child-directed experience appropriate for ages 7 and up:

• Maximum ad content rating set to G (general audiences)
• Ads treated as child-directed / under age of consent where applicable
• No interest-based advertising configuration intended for children

Google may collect and process device and advertising identifiers and related technical data as described in the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob documentation. StoicSoft does not sell your personal information. We do not use AdMob to collect microphone audio or voice recordings.

Children's Privacy

Voice Modulator is intended for family entertainment for ages 7 and up. StoicSoft does not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own use, does not create child profiles, and does not upload children’s audio to StoicSoft servers. The free app shows Google AdMob banners configured as family-safe / child-directed with a G content rating. Any advertising-related data processing by Google is described in Google’s policies. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 for StoicSoft’s own use, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of Voice Modulator following the posting of revised Privacy Policy means that you accept and agree to the changes.
